We had a very special Skype today with John and Jane Filkins of London, England! John sent a disk to us via "Royal Mail" that contained a PowerPoint presentation specially made for our class. Today we were able to ask John and Jane questions about life in England. We learned so many neat things! A few of the facts we learned were about the Queen Victoria Memorial, Horse Guards Arch, IMPS performing group, Blakeney Point, East Anglia Horse Shire Centre, and rugby and cricket. John is a retired teacher whom I found several years ago through epals.com and he enjoys connecting with students and teachers around the world. Thanks, John and Jane for this awesome experience!
