Brainpop and Brainpop Jr.

New this year: today each student created his/her own username and password for Brainpop and joined my class (this was quite the feat but we made it)! Your child can now login and use Brainpop at home on the computer or tablet!!!

Telling Time

We worked super hard today on telling time to the 5 minutes! We watched a couple of videos, viewed a PowerPoint, practiced together, and then on our own.

A Couple of Updates

I told the students today to look at their spelling lists at home and make sure it does NOT say list 2. I mistakenly handed the wrong list out to some students on Friday. They can return the wrong list for the correct one. The words in their assignment books are the correct ones. 

Friday will be the test over the first grade high frequency words. They do NOT have to know how to spell them, just read them without hesitation.
