Parents,
I just wanted to give you all a heads up that most graded papers that come home will be from the previous day. My prep time is in the morning everyday so papers will be graded at home each night and passed back to the students the next day.

First Spelling and Reading Tests

Our first spelling and reading tests will be this Friday. Our reading tests are a fresh read, which means they are NOT over the story in the reading book. This better tests the comprehension of the student rather than whether or not they can study a story and memorize the details. The student will read a short story and then answer questions. The student WILL be encouraged to look back at the passage to answer the questions. We take our spelling and reading tests online.
