Skype with Nancy Krulik!

Today we skyped with Nancy Krulik, author of the Katie Kazoo Switcheroo series, the George Brown Class Clown series, and Magic Bone series.  It was an awesome experience to be able to talk to her and hear her read from her newest George Brown book!!! She also answered our questions and gave us some great advice.

We had a blast today playing a Kahoot review game for Thursday's social studies test! We just might play it again tomorrow!

Lori Degman Author Skype

Today Author Lori Degman skyped with us! She answered our questions and read her book Cock-a-Doodle Oops. We loved the book! She also has a book titled 1 Zany Zoo that we are going to have to check out soon. It's an AR book with a level of 3.4.

Our reading test and spelling test will be Thursday this week due to no school on Friday.

Today we learned about the 3 parts of the federal government. We also did the lesson on voting. Below is a picture of the review that we did after the lesson. I left this on the board to help them with their worksheet.  Thought it would be good to post here, as it may be useful in preparing for the unit 4 test, which will be Thursday, April 9 ( tentatively).
