It had been awhile but we blogged today!  Everyone worked extra hard today to get things done.  We are getting quicker at doing what we need to do.  Keep up the good work kids!  Parents, it would be good practice to go over these entries with your child and fix any punctuation, spelling, and capitalization errors.  From time to time we will print the entries out and mark corrections.  Check out our blog entries: http://kidblog.org/MrsKnustsClass/ .  Remember, you can always click on the link at the side to see them too!

Monarch Butterfly Release!

We were so surprised this morning to see that two butterflies emerged from their chrysalises!!! We used what we read on the internet to determine that both are boy butterflies.

We are very excited and thankful to have new books for our classroom library!!! Thanks to Duke Energy for funding my Donor's Choose project!!! 

Skype!

Today we did a practice run of Skype with Mr. Clauss!!! He read a really funny book to the class! He asked us some great comprehension questions about the book.

Stop Animation App

Mr. Clauss talked to us today about doing a stop animation project in the future. He showed us the super cool stop motion studio app! Mr. Clauss said that this will be a privilege for the students to participate in so everyone has to work very hard for Mrs. Knust and show that they are ready for a project like this.

Caterpillars, Oh My!

Last Friday while gathering milkweed for our caterpillars I found what I thought could be eggs although I've never seen the eggs before. I put them in a jar and guess what!!!!! This morning I found two tiny caterpillars!!! After looking at one of the leaves I brought in this morning I think I have another egg!! Oh my!!!!
