Our mystery reader did an awesome job reading a nonfiction book on butterflies!

Our Monarch

Today we released our monarch butterfly!  It took off quickly and flew high into the air!

We have a Butterfly!!!

Sometime around 1am our butterfly emerged from its chrysalis!!!!

Mystery State Skype

Today we did a Mystery State Skype!  We asked yes/no questions and figured out that the 2nd graders we were talking to were from New Haven, Connecticut!!!  It was a great experience!

Day 14- Seeing Some Changes

Today we can see that our chrysalis is showing signs of change.  There are some lines on the outside that appear to be from the wings that are folded inside.

Indiana Posters

Today we worked in groups and made Indiana posters.  Tomorrow is our Mystery State Skype and we want to make sure we can answer questions about our own state!

US Bingo!

Today we played United States Bingo!  We are preparing for our Mystery State Skype on Friday!
