Peabody Energy Leader in Education Award

I was recently surprised by a school convocation in which I was presented the Peabody Energy Leader in Education Award!  I received a gift basket with a flip cam and other goodies and a check for $1,000.  I was excited and honored to say the least.  I will be eligible for the $5,000 Educator of the Year Award which will be presented in August.  I believe the winner will be chosen by facebook votes.  I love teaching and feel so lucky to be able to go to work excited about what I'm going to do each day.

Blog Looks Great

I just want to say how awesome it is that your class has a blog and everyone gets to contribute.  Mrs. Knust has been talking with me about the problems the class has been having with posting your posts and we are working on it. 

Has your class had a chance to try some of the books at www.biguniverse.com ?  I would love to hear comments from you with your thoughts on the program.  Your teacher can send me an email with all of your comments, each of you can email me, or I can set up an online survey.  Just have your teacher let me know what she would like to have your class do.

Keep working hard in your class and listening to your teacher.  She does a great job and will have each of you ready for third grade next year.  Good luck!

Halloween Parade

Today is Halloween!

Some Halloween safety rules are.... 1. Stay with your parents. 2. Never egg a house. 3.Don't say hi to a werewolf. 4.Don't mistake a mummy for your mommy. 5. Most of all get home before your eaten by zombies.

I have four people I love.  One is my Dad.  We like to go fishing.  The biggest Amata of Fishes I cot was a 2:99 Cat Fish.  The second person is my Mom.  I love my Mom!  She lets me ride a boat when She don't like it.  The third person is Parker.  He loves me a lot.  He can say bob ob.  last Gavin.  He hits me.

On my  Fall Break all I did was rode my bike and choped wood .   I rode My Horse up at the barn.I got to play Baskit ball and got to go to my papes house and played Basball.I got to go to the barn and helped Jason unlode hay for the horses at the barn.

Keena's Fall Break

On my Fall Break all 5 of us celebrated Connor's 10th Birthday Party.  Kahle and me spent the night at Grandma Young's house with Alyssa and Addison and we had Fun.  On Fall Break all 5 of us went to the firehouse to sell the chicken dinners.  On fall break all 5 of us went to get Connor Birthday cake from DQ and we got blizzard. 

Tiffanys Fall Break

I went to church. After that I went to an anniversary party. It was fun. I shopped for a card . I liked a lot. I took lots of pictures. After that I went home. My mom and dad was watching a scary movie. So me and my sister went out side. We went out on my Champollion. We  Jerold pictures on a board.
