What I think is in my teachers desk is markers, paper, glue, pencils and books. I also think that she has scissors and stickers. I also think she has a lot of pens. I think she has erasers. A lot of erasers. Maybe.

Monarchs!

My monarch caterpillars are now on my milkweed!  I will be bringing some caterpillars in to school so that we can watch them eat and transfrom into the chrysallis and adult stages.  Can you find the 3 caterpillars on the plant in the first picture below?
 

E-Readers

Thanks to the IPL Grant that I received last year, my class this year will get to use our new Nook E-readers! They just arrived at my house yesterday and are currently charging. I am very excited about them. I got 2 Nook Colors, which have wireless internet access (perfect for our classroom) and I found out that there are some cool apps I can purchase that the kids will like too! Can't wait to bring them to school!
