To My Students on the Last Day of School
It is the last day of school and I would like to say thank you to all my students for their hard work this year. I am very confident in saying that each of you are ready to go on to 3rd grade! You all have done great with the blogging and all the other technology challenges I have thrown your way and I'm so proud of how far you've come! We have a class where every single student can not only read, but read very well!! Each of you are currently above (and some far above) grade level in your reading and I hope that you continue to read over the summer so that you do not get the "summer slide." It is also wonderful that many of you went above and beyond in math and passed most (or all!) of your multiplication facts. I have enjoyed working with you all and also your parents. I hope you have a fun, safe summer and I will see you back here in August!

My Blog About Blogging
I am so glad Mrs. Knust class gets to use laptops to blog. If Mrs. Knust didn't have a blog we would be writing in journals all morning. That wouldn't be very fun. I like the laptops.
Blog About Blogging!
As our year in 2nd grade comes to a close, each of you has done something this year that none of you had ever done before stepping foot into this classroom! Please think about your blogging experience and Mrs. Knust's blogsite. Then comment to this post about blogging.

Our Field Trip
We had a field trip to the Children's Museum. I had fun! There was a wet deck and giant toy duck called Moe. Moe is 24ft tall. There was a stage where you could put on a play. It had costumes and scripts and everything! You could get your face painted and do puppet shadows too! It was the best field trip ever!!!
My Field Trip to the Children's Museum
My field trip to the Children's Museum was exciting. We climbed on a fake duck named Moe. I went with Makayla and her mom. Makayla is my classmate. All the 2nd graders went. We got to go in this one room where you could paint your face. There was also a stage in that room where we got to put on a play. You should go there. It is fun!
Field Trip
We went to the Children's Museum. There was a wet deck. You can make your own waterfall there. There was a stage and you can dance to your favorite music while your parents watch you. You can also go and make your own play like Where The Wild Things Are or Little Red Riding Hood. There are so many things to do. You can go to the working room and go to do art.
Our Trip to the Children's Museum
We had our field trip yesterday to the Children's Museum. I liked the water room. It was awesome. It had a game in the museum. You had to turn a wheel to get the duck to pedal the bike. I might go there again some day.
Our Field Trip
Yesterday we went to cMOE. There is a place there called Moe. It is a 24 foot tall duck. You're supposed to crawl inside him. Then you go down a really fast swirly slide. You could also launch balls out of cannons. I had a lot of fun doing that. Then there was a big nose that you crawl into. Then there was a memory game. You go under a giant brain. There was a little table. There were 4 sides on it. Lights would flash on it. Then the pattern that it showed, you would have to hit. Then there was a wet deck. There we got soaked. There also was a place where you could dig up dinosaur bones. There was also a place for little kids. Right next to that was a music room where you could play the piano, cowbells, and drums. The room beside that was face painting. I got my face painted. I wanted to paint my moms face, but she said no. You could also put on a play. Then 6 minutes later you could watch it. Then you could do crafts. That was the best field trip!!!!!!!!
Going to CMOE
It was very fun climbing on Moe. I went to wet deck. I got face panted. I aced like I was a coalmine. Igot so wet that i had to wipe my pant off. Therewas something that I wanted butt my mom din't get me it. I think it was to much.
